Hello, I'm

bmstr.

- also known as

artist & illustrator based in Aalborg, DK

I am Jorge Jorgensen also known as BMSTR. I am half Filipino and half Danish. I grew up in the Philippines, and I have been making paintings since I was a little kid. I create vibrant, expressive paintings with playfully weird, disproportionate characters to explore and exaggerate what it means to be human, creating a sense of tension and stillness.

Over the years, I’ve worked with clothing brands, exhibited my paintings, created logos, and I currently work as a technical Digital Building Designer at MapsPeople.
